Lingshan Village, also known as the Lingshan Ancient Architecture Cluster, is located 50 kilometers away from the Huangshan Scenic Area and is a well-preserved ancient village from the Ming Dynasty. The village is home to vast fields of terraced rapeseed flowers and a mountain stream that flows through the ancient settlement, creating a unique and picturesque landscape. Upon entering the village, visitors are greeted by the water entrance, which is believed by the Hui people to symbolize the gathering of wealth. The winding waterway is considered auspicious.
Walking along the stone-paved paths into this millennium-old village, one is first met with the water entrance architecture complex, consisting of Lingyang Bridge, Tianzun Pavilion, Wu Fu Temple, and Han Yuan Archway. The streets are paved with bluestone slabs, flanked by Ming and Qing dynasty buildings that are built along the stream, creating a harmonious and antique atmosphere with a unique charm.
