Lingshi Temple is located at the foot of Lingshi Mountain, Dongzhang Town, Fuqing City, Fujian Province. It is nestled under the towering Lingshi Mountain, which spans over a hundred miles and is characterized by its nine-layered peaks, with the main peak being Furong Peak. The temple is centered around its mountain gate and the Mahavira Hall, with spacious corridors on both sides. Along these corridors are the Dharma Hall, bell and drum towers, meditation rooms, and guest rooms, forming a grand architectural complex.

The Mahavira Hall is particularly spectacular, featuring a double-eaved, hip-and-gable roof made of wood and earth. It extends 11 meters deep and spans three bays, each 5.2 meters wide, facing 40 degrees south of east. The column bases are in the style of Tang Dynasty lotus bases, with a diameter of 1.08 meters. The wooden frame structure is well-like, and the ceiling is adorned with intricate patterns of dragons, phoenixes, flying celestial beings, lotus, and peonies.

The temple houses bells, drums, chimes, rice-washing stone tools, and a woodblock print of the panoramic view of Lingshi, all made in different eras. Additionally, there is an extremely precious丫-shaped iron tree.
