The Lingyan Dafoshan Scenic Area is located in Lingyan Village, Wande Street, Changqing District, Jinan City. It is on the west side outside Lingyan Temple. It is a national 3A-level scenic area with profound cultural connotations.
The scenery here is natural, the vegetation is dense, and there is a beautiful view at every step. Here is the millennium ancient sandalwood in the rare 72 famous springs in Jinan, which is embraced by ancient sandalwood. The ‘Tanhua Spring’ that never dries up all year round. Tourists can taste the original ecological chrysanthemum bud tea brewed with mountain spring water here. There is the ‘Dishuiya’ where spring water drips, like pearls being rinsed, making tinkling sounds. It is the place where Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty drank tea. There is the Mingkong Mountain like a Buddha looking up to the sky, with peaks and ridges overlapping and huge rocks jagged. There is a ‘heavenly ladder’ that directly reaches ‘King Wenzhai’. There are also natural landscapes such as Tiger’s Nest and Husband and Wife Stones. Tourists can overlook from a high place and have a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery of Lingyan. The entire scenic area is full of peaks and ridges, with flowers and trees in profusion. The forest coverage rate is as high as 95%, and the negative oxygen ion content reaches 1 billion per cubic meter. It is an original ecological ‘natural oxygen bar’.
