Lingzhi Pagoda

Lingzhi Pagoda is located in Majiadu, Anji County, and is said to have been built during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period of the Wu Yue Kingdom. The tower is an 8-sided, 9-story solid brick structure, which has suffered from natural and man-made damages. In September 1989, the top of the tower including the dragon head and other components were stolen, and most of the eaves are no longer present, with the spire severely tilted. The current tower still stands vertically with a total height of 23 meters. In December 1989, the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province declared Lingzhi Pagoda as a provincial cultural heritage protection unit. It is open all year round and accessible at all times.
