The Huadong Medicinal Botanical Garden (hereinafter referred to as ‘Botanical Garden’) is located in the northern part of Liandou District, Lishui City, Zhejiang Province, backed by the Baiyun Mountain National Forest Park. It is planned to cover an area of 7500 acres with an actual area of 2911 acres, and the total investment is approximately 840 million yuan. The garden is jointly invested and constructed by Lishui Forestry Ecological Development Center and Greenland Urban Investment Group.
It integrates sightseeing and leisure, science education, health preservation, and tourism resort, forming a comprehensive mountain botanical garden (meeting the standards of a 4A-level tourist attraction). It is also currently the largest medicinal botanical garden in the East China region of our country and has been included in the national medicinal botanical garden system list (established by the Institute of Medicinal Plant Development, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences).
