The Liuchunhu ropeway officially started construction in September 2018 and passed the acceptance inspection of the National Passenger Ropeway Safety Inspection Center on April 12, 2020. The Liuchunhu passenger ropeway and supporting projects have a total investment of about 200 million yuan. The ropeway adopts all-imported equipment from Doppelmayr, Austria. It is equipped with 60 eight-person gondolas with single-line circulating detachable grip devices, including 15 gondolas with glass bottoms. The speed can reach 6 meters per second, and the one-way transportation capacity is 1,500 people per hour. The Liuchunhu scenic area is still under development and construction. The under-construction Liuchunhu footpath project has a total investment of about 160 million yuan and is implemented in two phases. The first phase invests 80 million yuan. The total length of the footpath is about 8.5 kilometers. It is equipped with service stations, viewing platforms, toilets, rest pavilions, etc. In the second phase, supporting construction such as tent camps, service stations, and starry sky theaters will follow up. The facility supporting projects of the entire scenic area are expected to complete the construction of all footpaths before the end of October this year. In this winter, you will be able to take the ropeway to see the natural wonders such as alpine rime in Liuchunhu.
