Longhu Beach is located in Hepu District, Shantou City, 27 kilometers away from the city center, and is a natural seaside bathing spot. The beach is named after its coastline, resembling a reclining tiger on the beach. The water quality of the beach is clear, the sand is white, fine, and soft, and the terrain is gentle. Due to the protrusion of the coastline, it forms a strong wind and rough waves, which is an exciting area without danger. It is one of the more thrilling seaside bathing spots in the Shantou area and an excellent sea area for windsurfing. In 1999, it was rated as a provincial-level tourist resort.
