Longmen Mountain Scenic Area is located in the southern mountainous region of Jinan City, Shandong Province, known as the ‘backyard garden of Jinan’. It is named after Longmen Spring, one of the seventy-two famous springs of Jinan, and is the birthplace of Longmen Spring. It is recorded in the Jin Dynasty’s ‘Famous Springs Stele’, the Ming Dynasty’s ‘Seventy-two Springs Poem’, and the Qing Dynasty’s ‘Seventy-two Springs Record’. The scenic area covers more than 2200 acres and is an integrated resort that combines ecological tourism, leisure vacation, outdoor expansion, parent-child research, and ecological picking.
Entertainment projects within the scenic area, such as the glass viewing platform, shouting spring, pet paradise, high-altitude zipline, and the first dry slide in the southern mountain, are popular internet-famous check-in spots. The scenic area has a profound historical culture. Scenic spots like Yǐnmǎ Wān and Yuánzǐ Tái have a deep connection with Emperor Li Shimin of the Tang Dynasty and the hero Qin Qiong.
Opening hours are from 08:30 to 17:00 all year round. Preferential policies include: Children under 1.2 meters (not including) are free of charge; children between 1.2 meters (including) and 1.4 meters (including) enjoy discounted tickets. Disabled people with valid documents are free of charge. Military personnel with valid documents are free of charge. Tour guides and labor models with valid documents are free of charge. Elderly people aged 65 (including) and above with valid documents are free of charge; those aged 60 (including) to 65 (excluding) with an elderly card or ID card enjoy discounted tickets. Students at the primary, secondary, and undergraduate levels enjoy discounted tickets with valid documents.
