Between Huangshui Village in Longxi Township and the dam of Longxi Reservoir, there is a mountain stream area winding for more than ten miles. It is named ‘Longtan Deep Valley’ with characteristics of deep valley, beautiful water, many pools, clear mountains and strange stones. The pool water is crystal clear and one can see swimming fish shuttling. The main water source of the deep valley is Longxi Reservoir. There is a tunnel that leads the water at the bottom of the reservoir in and forms a clear green pool at the bottom of the valley. Tracing up the stream along the river valley line, one can see the stream turning into a waterfall when flowing through the protruding rocks. The waterfall can be seen all year round and its shape changes with the amount of water and is different in four seasons. Longtan Deep Valley is an original ecological tourist attraction featuring valley, water, pool, mountain and stone. Open all day throughout the year.
