Longtan West Lake Park is located in the southeast of Beijing. Not far to the west is the Temple of Heaven. The park was built in 1986. It has nearly 30,000 square meters of green space, and the green coverage rate reaches 56%. The whole park is divided into several scenic areas such as Liuhexuan, Moonlight over the Lotus Pond, Nanshan and Beishan leisure areas. It is planted with tree species such as metasequoia and ginkgo and various flowers. The lake in the park is full of white lotuses and there are several free-range white swans, living leisurely.
