Longtou Tiao is renowned for its holiday beaches, where the sand is as flat as a mirror, and the azure waves gently lap at the shore. Behind the beach lies an ancient forest, with towering ancient trees that are centuries old and provide ample shade. The water is about 2 meters deep just 200 meters off the coastline, making it an ideal location for a seaside bathing resort and for conducting maritime sports activities.

After the tide recedes, the vast mudflats offer a wide range of leisure activities such as beachcombing and sand sculpting, which add a touch of wilderness to the experience. A distinctive feature of this beach is the ancient tree group on the sand dunes adjacent to the beach. These trees are characteristic of the Zhoushan region, including the yellowwood and the Chinese cork oak, with hundreds of trees, some with a diameter of over 1 meter and reaching heights of 20-30 meters. Each tree provides shade for dozens of square meters, and their ages exceed a century.

The integration of this ancient forest with the ocean and the beach is a rare sight in China, making it a valuable asset for tourism development. The opening hours and operational status are subject to the daily conditions on site.
