Longtoujing Street is located in Xicheng District, Beijing. It starts from Dingfu Street in the north and extends to Sanzuoqiao Hutong in the south. The street runs in a southeast-northwest direction and is diagonally oriented. This area has been a residential hub since the Tang Dynasty. At that time, the alley was divided into two parts. The northern section was named ‘Ren Tou Jing’ during the Ming Dynasty and later changed to ‘Long Tou Jing’ in the Qing Dynasty. The southern section, due to the presence of the ‘Pu Ji Yao Wang Temple’, was called ‘Yao Wang Miao Street’. In 1965, both sections were merged into ‘Longtoujing Street’. With a total length of 385 meters, Longtoujing Street connects with Sanzuoqiao Hutong, Yangjiaodeng Hutong, Xinghua Hutong, Liuyin Street, and other alleys and lanes. It has been awarded as one of the ‘Top Ten Hutongs’ in Beijing. No. 32 Longtoujing Street is the second place where Mr. Hou Baolin lived after coming to Beijing in his childhood. No. 42 courtyard was once Tianshou Temple, which served as a temple for the Prince Gong’s Mansion and is now a residential area. Opening hours are subject to the actual daily opening status.
