The museum is divided into two sections: one showcasing the history of Longwan, and the other displaying its intangible cultural heritage. It is a comprehensive venue integrating science popularization, exhibitions, and education.
Opening Hours: The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00 all year round; it is closed all day on Mondays. The specific business status is subject to the daily opening conditions.
Service Facilities and Interpretation:
1. Interpretation Reservation:
– Visitors can reserve free interpretation services, which are only available for groups of 15 or more. Please call the reservation hotline at least two days in advance to schedule your visit.
2. Interpretation Reception:
– The museum currently only offers interpretation services in Chinese, with each session lasting approximately 30 minutes.
– Interpretation sessions are arranged according to reservation order, with 2 sessions scheduled from Tuesday to Friday, and 1 session on weekends and holidays.
– Interpretation times are from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, and from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
– When making a reservation, it is necessary to register the name of the organization, contact person, contact information, visit time, and number of visitors. The person making the reservation must register at the service desk with a valid ID on the day of the visit to obtain interpretation services.
– If there are any changes or cancellations to the reservation, please contact the museum staff in a timely manner to adjust the schedule. Failure to notify within half an hour of the scheduled time will be considered a cancellation.
