Longwang Village is located in the northern part of Zhejiang, in the southern part of Shangshu Township, bordering the Jiangnan Tianchi to the east, which can be reached by a half-hour hike to the scenic area. It is connected to the Dahan Seventy-two Peaks to the south and is a typical mountain village in the northeastern part of the Tianmu Mountain Range, 80 kilometers away from Hangzhou and 230 kilometers away from Shanghai.
Longwang Village is situated at an altitude ranging from 130 to 1115 meters, with numerous streams and springs, making it rich in water resources. The Longwang Stream is an important tributary of the Xitiao Stream, known for its clear, sweet, and pollution-free water, which is also rich in minerals. The climate is mild, with cool summers and refreshing autumns, and an average temperature of 18 degrees. Longwang Village boasts a deep cultural heritage, including traditional papermaking, new year paintings, dragon culture, and longevity culture, as well as well-preserved ancient trails, Huifeng Ridge, and Dianjiang Stone, along with their associated legends and stories. Today, Longwang Village is characterized by its towering mountains, undulating terrain, ancient trees, and bamboo forests reaching for the sky, with bamboo shadows dancing between the mountains and fish playing in the clear pools. The local customs are simple and harmonious, integrating rich natural and cultural landscapes. Currently, Longwang Village has over 30 farmhouses, with well-developed infrastructure, and has the capacity to accommodate visitors for sightseeing and vacations.
