The Lotus Pavilion is located in Fengzhu Garden. Fengzhu is an ancient scenic spot. The original pavilions and halls have been abolished. Later generations planted lotuses all over the islet. After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the Lotus Pavilion, the Lotus Viewing Pavilion and the Fish Appreciation Pavilion were built. It has become a great place to watch lotuses and fish in midsummer, and is thus named the Lotus Pavilion.
There is a saying of the scenery of “Viewing Fish at Flower Harbor”. In this scenic spot, the bamboo paths are shaded by towering greenery, the fragrance of lotuses fills half of the lake. You can watch groups of fish playing in the water up close and listen to the chirping of cranes and egrets in the distance. It has a unique charm.
