The ‘Marshal’s House’ is separated from the sea by a small park, located on the southern slope of the scenic Qingdao Signal Hill, within the Qingdao Badaguan Scenic Area. Here, green cypresses line the paths, creating intimate ‘nooks’ where couples often come to watch the sea and listen to the waves, earning this spot a romantic name—the ‘Love Corner’.
Qingdao’s coastline boasts many beautiful sea capes, and Love Corner is one of them. The area is known for its clusters of reefs, which are ideal habitats for fish, making it a ‘fish paradise’ and a ‘fisherman’s paradise’. Every day, numerous anglers gather here to fish. The cape is surrounded by the sea on its east, south, and west sides, with a coastline of about 2.5 kilometers, and was once built as ‘Taipingjiao Park’. At the junction of the cape, there are wedge-shaped reefs that form various beaches, including the rare blue reefs that are hard to find elsewhere. This corner is suitable for fish habitats, making it an excellent spot for fishing, and standing on the sea reefs, visitors may feel as if they are at the ‘ends of the earth’. The area is open all year round, accessible 24 hours a day.Love Corner
