Lu Xun Cultural Square is located at the intersection of Lu Xun Road, west of Xianheng Hotel in Shaoxing. The square features a sunken design with tiered steps, interspersed with red flowers and green leaves, lush vegetation, and a ground paved with bluestone slabs that highlights the traditional style of Shaoxing.
In the northern part of the square stands a bronze statue of Lu Xun, facing Lu Xun Road. The dark bronze color and the resolute expression between his eyebrows are familiar to many. Through the statue, one can distinctly sense Mr. Lu Xun’s wise thoughts, firm beliefs, and unyielding perseverance.
Beside the statue, there is a stone tablet inscribed with ‘The Inscription of Lu Xun’s Bronze Statue’. The square is open to the public from 06:00 to 16:30 all year round.
