The Lu Zuo Museum, officially registered with the Cultural Relics Bureau of Shandong Province, primarily exhibits ancient art pieces. The main categories include: rare Ming and Qing dynasty Huanghuali furniture, ancient textiles, lacquerware, porcelain, calligraphy and paintings, stoneware, and bonsai. The museum regularly rotates its exhibitions and invites large domestic and international art institutions for exchange exhibitions. Current exhibitions feature: the ‘more valuable than gold’ Huanghuali furniture from the Ming and Qing dynasties; Qing dynasty court lacquerware; the extremely expensive ancient birthday gift – Kuancai screens; large-scale silk paintings from private collections; and bonsai and stoneware gardens. Recent benefit, visiting the museum grants free access to the bonsai garden. Opening hours are all year round from Tuesday to Sunday, 08:30 to 19:30; closed all day on Mondays. Special policies: Persons with disabilities, active-duty military personnel, teachers, and cultural relics workers enjoy half-price admission with valid identification; children under 1.3 meters must be accompanied by a guardian and enter for free; seniors aged 60 and above with ID or senior citizen card enjoy half-price admission; full-time college and university students with student cards enjoy half-price admission.
