Luodian Historical and Cultural District is located in the heart of Luodian Town, Baoshan District. Before modern times, it was primarily characterized as a water town. Due to the destruction of war, most of the buildings in the area were destroyed, and the existing traditional architecture was mostly constructed after the 1940s. The district has preserved the street and river pattern known as ‘three bays, nine streets, and eighteen lanes’.
