Located outside the entrance gate of Qiandeng Ancient Town, there stands a low hill, not exceeding 50 meters in height, named for its resemblance to a reclining deer. The back of the deer is a natural lawn, lush and carpet-like. Many tourists, before exploring Qiandeng Ancient Town, would first climb Lu Mountain to get a panoramic view of the ancient town. It is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day.
