Lüshan National Forest Park is home to one of the four major Taoist temples, the Sanqing Temple, which dates back to the Tang Dynasty. The Lüshan Tianxian Eighteen Steps and the preserved stone couplets at Sanqing Upper Court are well-known, continuing to convey the historical and cultural information of Taoism to visitors.
The park boasts abundant natural resources, with thousands of plant species, including the famous Rhododendron, Yellow Poplar, Rose of Sharon, and Pearl Plum, as well as 500 medicinal plants. The forests are rich in dozens of nutritious and edible wild vegetables.
