Located in Xin Gangkou Reservoir Lane on the Macau Peninsula, near the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal, Macau Reservoir boasts a beautiful scenery. During the day, one can witness the departure and return of planes and ships between Hong Kong and Macau, as well as the takeoff and landing of helicopters. At night, the ever-changing lights of the New Lisboa Hotel can be seen from a distance, with the adjacent waters illuminated by the searchlights from the lighthouse on the Dong Wang Yang Mountain.
Surrounding the reservoir is a peninsula-shaped walking path, approximately 2400 meters long, lined with fitness equipment on both sides, making it an ideal spot for Macau residents to exercise, run, and take walks in the morning and evening, with seating areas for tourists to rest. The road adjacent to the reservoir is also the renowned Asian Formula 3 racing circuit, and the steps next to it serve as the spectator stands. The reservoir is open all year round, 24 hours a day.
