Maidao is located at the junction of the southern district and Laoshan district in Qingdao City, with Fushan Mountain to its back and the Yellow Sea to its south. During the Yongle years of the Ming Dynasty, the Dai ancestors migrated from Runing, Henan to Zhumao in Pingdu, and then relocated here to settle. After more than 600 years of development, the ancient Maidao Village has been transformed into an important educational, residential, and commercial area in the southern part of Qingdao City, presenting itself to the world with a brand new historical face.
