Maling – Beauty Peak, situated in Maling Village, Yuzhai Township, Pujiang County, stands at an altitude of 905 meters. This geological marvel is renowned for its peculiar rock formations in central Zhejiang. The formation of Beauty Peak dates back to the Yanshan Movement during the Mesozoic era, approximately 150 million years ago, when it was shaped by intense fractures and compressions. Due to its striking resemblance to an incense burner and an inverted pot, it is also known as Incense Burner Stone and Upside-down Pot.
Beauty Peak is an ideal destination for visitors of all ages, as accessibility is convenient, with the ability to drive directly to the base of the mountain. From there, a brief half-hour climb leads to a vantage point that offers a panoramic view of the surrounding peaks. The footpath is well-constructed, making the ascent enjoyable and safe for all.
