Malu Grape Theme Park, established in 2004, is located in Malu Town, Jiading District, known as the ‘Hometown of Grapes in China’, covering an area of 500 acres. It is a large-scale ecological modern agricultural park integrating grape research, popular science, demonstration, training, and leisure. The park features a Grape Science Popularization Hall, Science Popularization Garden, Science Popularization Corridor, Welcome Garden, Aquatic Flower and Vegetable Garden, Grape Potted Area, and Children’s Playground.
Malu Grape Park was first opened to the public in the summer of 2006 and was recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture as a ‘High-Quality Fruit Production Base’ due to its rich grape culture and technological innovation. The grapes produced by Malu Grape Park are branded as ‘Chuanlun’ organic grapes. To fully showcase the technological content and cultural connotations of Malu grapes, the park was the first to pass the organic transition certification in 2008, obtained organic certification in 2009, and has continuously passed organic food certification for over a decade.

In 2019, it was awarded as one of the top ten safe and high-quality trustworthy orchards in Shanghai and won the gold award in the ‘Anxin Cup’ 2019 Shanghai Local High-Quality Grape Selection and Promotion Activity. In 2020, it was honored as a National Modern Agricultural Demonstration Base.

The Aquatic Flower and Vegetable Garden covers an area of 8,000 square meters, divided into a vegetable area and an aquatic flower area. The aquatic flower area has lotus and water lilies planted in shallow flowing water, with goldfish raised under the water lilies. The vegetable area is planted with various seasonal vegetables, and since the park opens on May 1st each year, visitors can pick fresh vegetables here and enjoy the joy of harvest.

The Grape Corridor, spanning 1,500 meters, not only provides shade but also showcases the production level of Malu grapes with its neatly arranged fruiting positions in a straight line.

The Grape Science Popularization Hall is a three-story building shaped like a wine castle. It relies on the park and surrounding natural environment, with ‘grape science and culture’ at its core, integrating grape culture, wine culture, and corporate culture. After its construction, it, along with other places such as the greenhouses in the park, forms the core of the Malu Grape Park’s science education base.

In the Grape Welcome Garden, the last paragraph of ‘Malu Grape Ode’ states, ‘Taste Malu grapes, savor the colorful life scenery.’ Grapes, like people, contain colorful dreams. Small rooms for visitors to rest are built under the grape trellis, integrating with the trellis, offering both comfort and elegance. Visitors can not only enjoy delicious grapes, grape juice, grape bud tea, and grape dumplings but also relax their minds in a fresh and natural environment.

Outside the wooden fence of the Children’s Playground, there is a lush green grape corridor. Under the grape trellis, there is a lawn as green as jade.
The agile yet slightly lazy big-eared rabbits, colorful turkeys, snow-white pigeons, and lovely lambs create a lively scene. There are also swing sets, balance beams, slides, and seesaws. The whole family can come together and write a joyous chapter.
