Matou Mountain is located in the middle reaches of the Lingjiang River in Linhai City, Zhejiang Province, 20 kilometers away from the county town. It is composed of the natural scenery of Matou Mountain, Xianren Cave, underground karst caves, and underground rivers, known as the Liaya Cave. The topography is extraordinary, and the environment is elegant. From the north bank of the river looking at Matou Mountain, it vividly resembles a natural sculpture art piece – a horse head, hence the name Matou Mountain. Open all year round from 9:00 to 18:00.
