Located in Shantou City, Guangdong Province, Mr. Sai’s Children’s Science and Technology Museum covers an area of over a thousand square meters, featuring a variety of cutting-edge technologies such as AR, VR, robotics, and 3D printing. The interior space is predominantly blue, with a technological aesthetic and the integration of various technological elements. The entrance features Mr. Sai’s thematic image on the right wall, while the left wall displays related content sections. The overhead lighting combines decorative and directional functions, and the floor extends the thematic image with geometric patterns, using zigzag lines to demonstrate the spatial extension.
The aisles and merchandise area boast a unique arched entrance for the merchandise area. The rest area and beverage area have a cosmic theme on the ceiling and walls, with the ceiling lighting designed to represent the nine planets of the solar system, and the walls featuring a galactic traversal pattern.
In the service area, there is a starry space-themed top lightbox, walls adorned with interstellar elements, and a service desk featuring aircraft elements. The time-space tunnel showcases the extension of space with lighting effects, and the metallic paint material highlights the environmental differences.
The star observation station displays space scenes, while the UFO stage serves as a hub for various spaces, also offering stand-up comedy, robotics, and interactive photo wall functions. The 3D printing area features unique light strip partitions connected to overhead decorations and technologically styled exhibition stands. The science laboratory classroom combines technology and mechanical elements in its design.
The museum is open all year round from 09:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 17:00, with specific operating conditions subject to the day’s opening status.
