Mei Liao Street Anti-Japanese Memorial Hall

The Mei Liao Street Anti-Japanese Memorial Hall was spontaneously funded and built by the local people of Mei Liao Head to promote the patriotic spirit of the ‘Big Sword Team’ during the Anti-Japanese War and to establish a base for patriotic education. Inside the hall, there are relics from the early years, including ‘Qi Xing Zhuang’, ‘San Xing Zhuang’, ‘Diaobao’, ‘Diaotai’, and weapons such as the Guandao and tridents used by the local people for martial practice. Construction of the Anti-Japanese Memorial Hall began in 2006 and it stands two stories high with an area of approximately 250 square meters.
