Mei Lin Mountain Park, also known as Mei Lin Park, is located to the north of Futian District with an elevation of 362 meters at its highest point. The park features multiple scenic spots, including Qiaoxiang Entrance Scenic Area, Mingjian Pavilion, Qinxiang Pavilion, Yi Cuiping Pavilion, and Mei Yu Pavilion.
The park’s hiking trails are integrated with greenways, connecting the Meilin, Xiangmi Lake, and Taoyuan areas along the North Ring Avenue, as well as the Tanglang Mountain Country Park to the west and Mei Lin Park to the southeast. Local residents can enjoy hiking and mountain climbing without the need for a car, offering a convenient way to engage in outdoor activities, sightseeing, and physical exercise.
The park has a fire-fighting and irrigation network along its ridge lines and hiking trails, utilizing surface water from mountain streams to build a production and fire-fighting water supply system. This addresses both forest fire-fighting water needs and irrigation water supply challenges, serving as an excellent example of a conservation-oriented garden construction.
Some of its scenic spots, such as Mei Yu Pavilion and Wutao Pavilion, not only offer landscape and viewing functions but also serve as forest protection and lookout points.
Walking through Mei Lin Mountain Park, visitors can appreciate the beautiful natural scenery of Mei Lin Mountain and Mei Lin Reservoir, and feel the rich atmosphere of the forest and countryside in the park. It is an excellent choice for getting close to nature, experiencing nature, and enjoying nature. The park is open all year round from 06:00 to 22:30, with specific business hours subject to the day’s operations.
