Mei Shudi Scenic Area is located in Gaofeng Village, Dong’an Township, Changshan County, and is the second national 4A-level scenic spot in Changshan. The scenic area is characterized by its gorge ecological landscape, with the peak of Baijuhuajian Mountain reaching an altitude of 1395 meters, making it the highest peak in the county. The Mei Ling Grand Canyon within the core scenic area is an important tributary of the Changshan River, with continuous waterfalls in the mountain streams and more than fifty accumulated pools along the rivers, connected in sequence, including the Baiju, Fairy, Wulong, Longmen, and Xiangshui pools, all exceptionally beautiful. Within the gorge, there are bluestone paths, connected covered bridges, green trees and vines, swaying bamboo, and towering strange rocks, creating a serene and pleasant environment.
The living area of the scenic spot includes tens of thousands of acres of bamboo forests, a radar station, the Shimen Yixiantian (Stone Gate One-Line Sky), and Tianchi (Guoyi Mountain Residence), among other attractions. The surrounding attractions such as the Seven-Color Gorge, Jin Yuan Ancient Village, and Furong Grand Canyon also have distinctive features.
