It is located in Yanhu Scenic Area. On the left side of Shizhu Gate, the rock is more than 100 meters high and forms a ravine in a ring. The two cliffs at the mouth of the ravine are like gates. The waterfall pours down from the north cliff in the ravine and impacts on the cliff stone protruding horizontally from the middle of the cliff. It sprinkles in the air like flying pearls and broken jade. Due to the wind, it is misty and rainy, looking like plum rain, which is amazing. After Liang Zhi of the Qing Dynasty visited Meiyu Rock, he wrote a poem: ‘The flying spring on the rock is a hundred feet high, and the broken jade in front of the rock hits the cold stone. Few people come to the wet place of green vines. The ground is full of moss and deer tracks.’ The scenery described in the first two sentences remains the same; in the latter two sentences, with the opening of the highway in Xiwaigu, the number of tourists gradually increases and becomes a historical relic. There is a pool under the waterfall called Meiyu Pool. The pool is shallow and wide, and there is a huge stone lying horizontally in the pool.
