This is a military academy that has produced many heroes. Many military leaders have emerged from here. There are countless generals and marshals who graduated from here. It was once the cradle of Chinese military strategists. The scenic spots of the memorial hall of the former site include the main campus, Sun Yat-sen’s former residence, the monument to Sun Zhongli, the cemetery of martyrs of the Eastern Expedition, the monument to the Northern Expedition, Jishen Park, Huangpu Park, Dapo Di Fort, and Baihegang Fort. In the main campus, you can see many beds and classrooms of students in the past. There are also many materials from that period in the data center. The permanent exhibitions include the Huangpu Heroes Hall and the ‘Exhibition on the Historical Sites of Huangpu Military Academy’. Sun Yat-sen’s former residence is a small yellow two-story house. Inside, there is a permanent exhibition ‘Yesterday in the Small Building – Huangpu Branch of Guangdong Customs and the Changes of Its Former Site’. The ‘Exhibition on the Historical Sites of Huangpu Military Academy’ is located at the entrance of the main campus. The exhibition shows the historical years and stories of Huangpu Military Academy through nearly 200 photos and more than 100 cultural relics. ‘Yesterday in the Small Building – Huangpu Branch of Guangdong Customs and the Changes of Its Former Site’ is located on the first floor of Sun Yat-sen’s former residence. Through some paintings, it tells the development history of Huangpu Branch of Guangdong Customs and the change history of the old customs site.
