This exhibition, themed ‘Memory, Heritage, Mutation,’ brings together cultural and artistic workers from China and Portuguese-speaking countries to present outstanding contemporary visual art works to the audience. Memory leaves traces in the coding of cultural heritage and undergoes mutations in the ever-changing world. Artists, through their unique perspectives and creations, transform personal and collective cultural trajectories into thought-provoking art pieces. These works showcase the intermingling of the East and West, and even the Global South, forming a new artistic context that leads the audience to ponder on the continuity and diversity of culture. The exhibition is divided into three parts, connecting the past, present, and future, displaying contemporary art works from artists in mainland China, Macau, Portugal, Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Mozambique, Sao Tome and Principe, and Timor-Leste, as well as public street art creations, including painting, video, and multimedia interactive installations. Open from October 25th to February 9th, with specific business hours subject to the day’s opening status.
