Menghuabu Village is nestled in the mountains to the north of Zhengguo Town, Zengcheng District, Guangzhou City, approximately 3 kilometers away from the town. Since the ancestors settled here in 1732, the village has a history of over 200 years. It was named Menghuabu Village due to the beautiful meadows of a type of grass resembling a beautiful cloth, and later known as Huangsha Ba because of its striking large area of golden yellow sand beaches.
The beauty of Menghuabu Village does not stem from a single exquisite element but from the overall atmosphere and charm of this small village—her tranquility, her seclusion, her delicacy, her peace, her harmony, her freehand style, her air, her cooking smoke, her ancient Hakka houses, her deep bamboo-lined paths, her silvery sand beaches, her intoxicating greenery, her simple and kind villagers, and perhaps, the dogs and ducks wandering around.
