Mi Deng Garden is situated in the Shangcheng District of Hangzhou City, featuring a unique dark green standalone building with a romantic French-style garden view. The garden spans three levels, divided into six distinct sections including ‘Yin Xin’, ‘Hua Gong’, and ‘Wu Mu’. It is adorned with arches, fresh flowers, and crystal chandeliers, reminiscent of elements from a fairy tale, akin to Alice’s Wonderland.
Upon entering the garden, the right side of the first floor is ‘Yin Xin Hall’, where a densely branched tree canopy is adorned with hundreds of glass chandeliers hanging among the branches. As the lights gradually illuminate, one feels as though they are in a forest under a sky full of stars. Ascending to the second floor leads to ‘Hua Gong’, where eighty percent of the garden’s collections are housed. Large wooden shelves cover two walls, filled with a variety of European-style containers and larger-than-life plaster statues. The collection is vast and diverse, with each small corner revealing surprising finds. Proceeding to the third floor, one passes through an arc-shaped archway made of plants to reach an open-air sky garden, ‘Xiao Ting’. Surrounded by plants and flowers, the sky garden features tables and chairs under parasols and mini wooden huts nestled among the trees, exuding a sense of leisure and contentment. The garden is open year-round from 10:00 to 18:00 for visits. Please note that the specific business hours may vary according to daily operations, and it is mandatory to make a reservation in advance. Walk-ins are not accepted, and outside food is prohibited.Mi Deng Garden: A Fairytale Oasis in Hangzhou
