Miaofeng Mountain Scenic Area, located within the territory of Mentougou District, Beijing, is 55 kilometers away from the city center and covers an area of approximately 20 square kilometers. The scenic area is renowned for its ancient temples, peculiar pines, grotesque rocks, and exotic flowers. As part of the Taihang Mountain range, the main peak stands at an elevation of 1291 meters, with steep terrain and seasonal landscapes such as sunrise, sunset, rime ice, and sea of clouds, as well as thousands of acres of rose flowers. It also hosts a large-scale traditional pilgrimage event in North China. Miaofeng Mountain has become one of the scenic spots around Beijing. In 2005, it was rated as a National AAA-level tourist attraction. Opening hours are from 08:30 to 16:30 all year round.
