The Millennium Dawn Park is a place where a dawn makes Shitang infinitely beautiful. It is the first place in mainland China to be illuminated by the first rays of dawn in the new millennium and new century. It is located south of Taizhou Bay in Zhejiang Province and belongs to Shitang Town, Wenling City, Taizhou District. In the mountain col within a radius of four or five square kilometers in Shitang, all are stone buildings where ‘houses bite mountains and mountains hold houses’. Some are neatly stacked, some are abruptly protruding. In groups of three or five, they are in an orderly arrangement of different heights, full of rhythm, forming a stone carving group facing the wind and waves, full of masculine charm.
Opening hours: From October 1st to April 30th (winter time), it is open from 08:00 to 16:30; from May 1st to September 30th (summer time), it is open from 08:00 to 17:00.
