The Ming and Qing Dynasty Ancient Fort is located in Zhangxi Town. The entire building is constructed with rammed yellow soil, featuring a double-layered structure. The ground floor is designated for living quarters, while the second floor is used for storage. The inner building, known as ‘Zilai Tower,’ was built during the Jiajing era of the Ming Dynasty, and the outer building, ‘Gongci,’ was constructed during the Kangxi era of the Qing Dynasty. Spanning both the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it is hence called the Ming and Qing Dynasty Ancient Fort. The specific opening hours are subject to the notice displayed at the scenic spot.
