Mingchi Pond is located in the eastern part of Tianyige Garden, and it is a sizable water feature within the garden. Surrounded by artificial hills, the pond also houses koi fish. Although the water appears turbid, it offers a unique view with the reflection of tree shadows.
On the west side of Mingchi Pond lies the Nan Garden, which also features a smaller pond adjacent to the ‘Chinese Local Chronicles Exhibition Hall’.
The garden is open all year round, with full-day access.
