Ming Dynasty Street, also known as Yan Hui Street, is located within the ancient city of Xingcheng. It is home to the National Key Cultural Relic Protection Unit – Zu Shi Stone Archway. The street was restored from 1984 to 1987. There are more than 120 commercial shops on the street, with architectural styles retaining the layout and style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The entire street consists of over 200 rooms, covering an area of more than 30,000 square meters.
Today, Ming Dynasty Street is a pedestrian street established by the Xingcheng Municipal Government. Strolling along Ming Dynasty Street, one can feel the rich and elegant atmosphere of antiquity, with a wide variety of goods on display. Visiting Xingcheng and bringing back some specialty products is also a very pleasant experience.
