Mingao is a small village hidden deep in the mountains of Yongjia in southern Zhejiang. It is adjacent to the mountains in southern Zhejiang on the west and faces the sea on the east. The cascading terraced fields there are magnificent. The smoke rising from the dense forests, and the terraced fields with layers of stored water are like a bright mirror. In the distance, there are overlapping peaks and misty smoke. The project carved by the ancestors with primitive tools forms a wonderful landscape painting. Climbing mountains and watching the sunrise and strolling in the fields in Mingao Terraced Fields allow urbanites to return to a simple and natural place. Mingao Terraced Fields are roughly divided into six points. Point 1 is in Waixu Village. The better shooting location is on the northern hillside of Mingao Village. Point 2 is in Mingao Village. The better shooting location is along the road signs to the mountain top pavilion. Point 3 is in Nanshan Village. Point 4 is in Zhenshan Village. The better shooting location is on both sides of the road on the northern hillside of Zhenshan Village. Point 5 is in Zhenshan Village. The better shooting location is at the south entrance of the village, that is, fields within fields. Point 6 is in Zhenshan Village. The better shooting location is on the western hilltop of Zhenshan Village. Ye Xinren’s work ‘Pastoral’ is located there. For shooting sunrise, you can stay in this village and be led up the mountain by the villagers. Opening hours: open all day throughout the year.
