Minjiang Park is located on the north and south banks of the Minjiang River in Fuzhou urban area, Fujian Province. It is a relatively large leisure park in Fuzhou. Minjiang Park is divided into the North Garden and the South Garden, separated by the river and echoing each other from afar.
The North Garden and the South Garden were completed and put into use on May 1, 2000 and May 1, 2002 respectively. The North Garden is 5.5 kilometers long and covers an area of 44.24 hectares. Integrating hydrophilicity and artistry, it reflects the unique cultural characteristics of the Minjiang River Basin and the charm of Rongcheng. It consists of 9 scenic areas, which are, from west to east: Xihe Garden, Jinjiang Garden, Jinsha Garden, Wanglong Garden, Binfen Garden, Qiaoliang Garden, Hualong Garden, Minfeng Garden and Minshui Garden.

The South Garden is located on the south bank of the Minjiang River, 2,850 meters long and covers an area of 27.4 hectares. There are more primary forests in the South Garden and relatively fewer signs of artificial carving. It consists of a main entrance square and 8 scenic areas: Moonlight over the Lotus Pond, Leisure by the River, Rural Scenery in Dreams, Children’s World, Ten-mile Flower Path, Huaxiang Square, Hongtang Ancient Ferry, and Coconut Breeze in the Sunlight.

1. Pets are prohibited from entering the park. Uncivilized behaviors that affect others’ viewing and recreation, such as lying down and sleeping in the park, are prohibited. People who are not properly dressed are not allowed to enter the park.

2. Pay attention to fire prevention. Activities such as camping, picnicking, barbecuing, bonfires, and releasing sky lanterns are prohibited in the park.

3. Activities such as playing in the water, swimming, fishing, and electrofishing are strictly prohibited in the park area.

4. It is strictly prohibited to bring inflammable, explosive and other items and other dangerous goods into the park. All kinds of illegal and criminal acts are strictly prohibited in the park. Pay attention to taking good care of the items you carry with you to prevent theft and robbery.
