Minjiang Park is located on the north and south banks of the Minjiang River in Fuzhou urban area, Fujian Province. It is a relatively large leisure park in Fuzhou. Minjiang Park is divided into the North Garden and the South Garden, separated by the river and echoing each other from afar.
The North Garden and the South Garden were completed and put into use on May 1, 2000 and May 1, 2002 respectively. The North Garden is 5.5 kilometers long and covers an area of 44.24 hectares. Integrating hydrophilicity and artistry, it reflects the unique cultural characteristics of the Minjiang River Basin and the charm of Rongcheng. It consists of 9 scenic areas, which are, from west to east: Xihe Garden, Jinjiang Garden, Jinsha Garden, Wanglong Garden, Binfen Garden, Qiaoliang Garden, Hualong Garden, Minfeng Garden and Minshui Garden.
