About MIYAVI:
MIYAVI is an internationally renowned rock guitarist, singer-songwriter, music producer, actor, and model. His unique slapping guitar playing style has attracted guitarists worldwide to imitate. Formerly the guitarist of the visual kei rock band Due’le quartz, MIYAVI has been active as a solo artist since 2002. With a cool exterior, MIYAVI also harbors a love for peace and warmth. In 2017, he was officially appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. After 21 years in the music industry, he is a doting father of three children. Maintaining his peak appearance, he is also brave in breaking through himself and committed to integrating world pop culture, using music to break down borders.
In 2008, he embarked on a world tour. His high-energy and interactive live performances attracted a large following. Between 2011 and 2020, he conducted multiple tours with themes such as ‘WHAT’S MY NAME?’, ‘SLAP THE WORLD’, ‘Fire Bird’, ‘NO SLEEP TILL TOKYO’, and ‘Holy Nights’, showcasing his ever-evolving musical style. In 2022, he was invited to perform at the tour of the world-renowned football team Paris Saint-Germain and opened the event. The same year, he launched his 20th-anniversary tour ’20TH & BEYOND’.In July 2024, he performed and conducted the ceremonial first pitch at the Los Angeles Dodgers’ home stadium. MIYAVI has successfully completed six world tours to date, performing over 250 shows in 30 countries across North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
