Mural Village is located within the Changsheng Garden residential area of Gongbei Yingbin Community. Previously an ordinary residential complex, it has been transformed through an old village renovation project. Chinese artists, the Wan brothers, spent nearly half a year using the exterior walls of the aged buildings as their canvas to create murals. Here, you can witness the fusion of architecture and art, and experience a serenity starkly different from the hustle and bustle ahead.
Staircases covered with lawns are adorned with lifelike 3D paintings; the fisherman’s boat seems about to break through the wall, astonishing visitors. Most of these murals have a dreamy and childlike quality, making it an ideal place for relaxation after a hard day’s work. After viewing the murals, you can also stroll around the nearby streets and savor local delicacies.
