The Museum of the Mysteries of Life is a comprehensive private natural museum that truly and systematically reveals the evolutionary process of vertebrates. By displaying unique and fascinating biological specimens, it conveys authentic and exciting information about life.
Within the museum, biological specimens combined with advanced multimedia facilities and unique exhibition forms illustrate the interplay and adaptation between animal body structures, their habits, behaviors, and living environments. It narrates the emergence, development, and evolutionary journey of life, providing a detailed and intuitive interpretation of Darwin’s theory of evolution, and explains the causes of biodiversity from an anatomical perspective.

The Museum of the Mysteries of Life advocates the concepts of a ‘community with a shared future for mankind’ and ‘harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.’ It is dedicated to enhancing public scientific literacy and plays a leading role in popularizing knowledge of life sciences. It has been honored with titles such as an Excellent National Science Popularization Education Base, a National Marine Science Popularization Education Base, and one of the Top Ten Science Popularization Research Brands in China. The museum’s published series of books, ‘Mysteries of Life’ (‘Darwin’s Evidence,’ ‘Shadows of Deep-Sea Fish,’ ‘The Mysteries of the Human Body’), has won the National Science and Technology Progress Award, second prize (popular science category).

The Mysteries of Life exhibition series has traveled to over 150 cities in more than 55 countries and regions worldwide, with over 50 million visitors.
