The cable car is a passenger chairlift sightseeing cableway, with a total length of 550 meters. As you sit on the cable car, the beautiful scenery of Mutianyu unfolds before your eyes. Every turn reveals a new scene, and your mood sways with the gentle rhythm. It takes only 6 minutes to transport you smoothly and safely from the base station to the top of the Great Wall, directly to the essence of Mutianyu Great Wall: Mutianyu Pass, the artillery platform, and the Great Corner Tower, making it an ideal tool for ascending the wall. Operating hours are from November 16th to March 15th, 09:00-16:30; and from March 16th to October 15th, 08:00-17:00.
Favorable policy for children: Free entry for children under 1.2 meters (not including 1.2 meters).
