Nan Gao Feng, located north of Manjue Long and Yanxia Ridge, stands at an elevation of 257 meters and is recognized as the southern peak of the ‘Twin Peaks Piercing the Clouds,’ one of the Ten Scenes of West Lake. The mountain, primarily composed of limestone, features prominent karst topography due to the faulted strata on both sides. The famous Yanxia Cave, Shui Le Cave, Shiwu Cave, and the colorful stalactites within are all related to this geological phenomenon.
The mountain is abundant with oak and pine trees, interspersed with bamboo groves and tea gardens, offering a rich variety of plant species and beautiful natural scenery. It is open to visitors all year round, with full-day access.
