Nan Wudang Mountain Scenic Area is located in Wudang Town, Longnan County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, spanning the border between Jiangxi and Guangdong. The main peak stands at an elevation of 864 meters, and it is a scenic and historical interest area that integrates Danxia landscapes and Buddhist culture.
As a typical Danxia landform, the scenic area is characterized by Danxia peak clusters and peak forest landforms. Ninety-nine Danxia peaks rise abruptly from the ground, with clusters of rocks displaying elegance and solitary peaks standing tall and straight, resembling swords pointing towards the sky. These peaks, each with a unique shape, form a magnificent landscape painting, earning the area the reputation of a ‘ten-mile gallery’, which unfolds along National Highway 105.
Opening Hours: The scenic area is open year-round from 08:00 to 15:30.
Preferential Policies: Children: Free for those under 1.2 meters (inclusive); half price for those between 1.2 meters (exclusive) and 1.5 meters (inclusive). Elderly: Free for those aged 65 years and above (inclusive) with valid ID, Jiangxi social security card, passport, Hong Kong and Macao travel permit, etc.; half price for those aged between 60 years (inclusive) and 65 years (exclusive) with the same documents. Active Military Personnel: Free for active military personnel with valid officer’s ID, soldier’s ID, sergeant’s ID, armed police officer’s ID, civilian cadre ID, and other valid documents. Disabled Military Personnel: Free for those with a ‘People’s Republic of China Disabled Military Personnel Certificate’ for national first, second, third, and fourth class (1-6 level) disabled military personnel. Disabled Military Personnel: Half price for those with a ‘People’s Republic of China Disabled Military Personnel Certificate’ (old version third class) for third class (7-10 level) disabled military personnel. Disabled Persons: Free for those with a new version 1-6 level (old version 1-2 class) disability certificate issued by the Disabled Persons’ Federation; half price for those with a new version 7-10 level (old version third class) disability certificate. Disabled Civil Servants: Free for those with a 1-6 level (old version) disability public security police certificate, disability civil servant certificate, and national organ staff disability certificate; half price for those with a 7-10 level disability public security police certificate, disability civil servant certificate, and international organ staff disability certificate.
