Nanji Islands, also known as Nanji, is a group of islands located outside the mouth of the Aojiang River in Pingyang County, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, in the East China Sea. Comprising 52 islands of varying sizes, the largest among them is Nanji Island.
This island group boasts an abundant marine biodiversity and is acclaimed as the ‘Kingdom of Shells and Algae’. Nanji Islands is a picturesque tourist destination, with beautiful ocean scenery that appears natural and unspoiled, and is rich in natural resources and biodiversity.
