Nanjiang Park, located on the east side of Shi Xin Road and south of Dao Yuan Road in Xiaoshan, is a comprehensive city-level park that integrates leisure, entertainment, and sightseeing. It is a city riverside green space with rich cultural connotations and a Jiangnan garden style. Unlike the modern style of the People’s Square, Nanjiang Park primarily reflects the style of Jiangnan gardens. The park features antique buildings, undulating lawns, and the poetic charm of small bridges and flowing water.

Key attractions such as ‘Wuyue Square’, ‘Beggars’ Pavilion’, and ‘Zhuang Pavilion Historical Site’ highlight the Jiangnan garden style and Wu Yue culture in an exquisite manner. Nanjiang Park has been thoughtfully designed around the Jiangnan garden style, with materials such as pebbles, crushed stones, and bluestone for garden paths, and traditional Jiangnan ancient building materials for construction. Notably, the river embankment of the entire Nanjiang Park is built with yellow stone in a natural and elegant manner.

The park is mainly divided into several areas including the ‘Birdsong and Fragrance Pavilion’, ‘Wuyue Square’, ‘Xiaoxiang Lake Pond’, ‘Waterfall’, ‘Water Stage’, ‘Zhuang Pavilion Historical Site’, ‘Beggars’ Pavilion’, ‘Xishi Pavilion’, ‘Water Wall’, and ‘Mingxiang Garden Tea House’. It is open all year round, accessible 24 hours a day.
